About IMGoing:
IMGoing is a live event entertainment company that produces concerts and events throughout the state of Virginia. IMGoing has operated the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion (Portsmouth, Virginia) since 2005; and the Resort Management Agreement for Virginia Beach since 2009. IMGoing has produced events at most of the larger venues in the State including the Altria Theater and Carpenter Theatre. In addition to the nationally touring artists and festivals it has produced, IMGoing has produced many community and Military events. Its Live! On Atlantic program for the City of Virginia Beach produces over 500 events annually. No matter the size of the events, IMG’s team of highly experienced professionals is up to the task. Location: Virginia Beach, Oceanfront
Time Frame: April 22, 2022 to September 24, 2022
Hours of Operation: 5:30pm-11:30pm nightly
Rate: $12/hour

From April through September the wildly-popular Live! On Atlantic program thrills audiences along the sidewalks of Atlantic Avenue with magicians, jugglers, musicians, costumed characters, and more. When it comes to entertainment, “all the world’s a stage” most nights at the Virginia Beach oceanfront with concerts, street performers, and unique events that showcase the best of the resort city. Live! On Atlantic is a part of the Beach Events entertainment program presented by the City of Virginia Beach, featuring concerts, festivals, and family activities held at the oceanfront resort area. With a full array of events, ranging from the Monsters on the Beach monster truck races to the Atlantic Coast Kite Festival to headliner concerts at oceanfront parks and performers along Atlantic Avenue, there’s truly “something for everyone!” Live! Responsibilities:
· Assist performers on 19th and 23rd closed streets with set-up, breaks, and load-out
· Set up Live! On Atlantic portable sidewalk stages (power, lights, signage as needed, and extension cords)
· Alert Event Manager of any issues related to performers, guests, or equipment that need to be addressed
· Help secure closed street venues with barricades and signage
· Monitor guests at performances and direct them around crowds and performers
· Serve as an information resource to guests
· Serve as a brand ambassador for Live! On Atlantic, Beach Events, and the City of Virginia Beach
Qualifications:
· Customer service-oriented personality (you must like people and enjoy live entertainment)
· Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Communications skills – ability to communicate with a variety of personalities in a professional and appropriate and timely manner
· Lift and carry at least 32 pounds at one time and maneuver a handcart and traffic barricades.

· Set up Live! On Atlantic sidewalk stages (power, lights, signage as needed, and extension cords)
· Drive a 16-foot box truck containing Live! On Atlantic portable stages
· Assist with the supervision of entertainment at multiple event location simultaneously
Qualifications:
· Customer service-oriented personality (must like people and enjoy live entertainment)
· Must be comfortable driving a 16-foot box truck and have a clean driving record
· Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Must be able to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
· Time management skills – ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize work to achieve maximum productivity
· Communications skills – ability to communicate with a variety of personalities across a multitude of departments and in a professional and appropriate manner
· Problem-solving skills – ability to find creative and resourceful solutions to challenges the ability to work with multiple demands and high expectation
· Lift and carry at least 50 pounds at one time, maneuver a handcart, climb a ladder and/or scaffolding.

· Supervise entertainment at all event locations to include 17th park, 24th park, Atlantic Avenue sidewalk acts (13th to 26th), Historical Programming (25th connector and 26th connector), closed street acts (19th 200 block and 23rd 200 block), satellite locations (7th gazebo and 34th gazebo)
· Develop working relationships with Storefront Owners and City Staff
· Supervise Operations Staff in the placement of the Atlantic Ave. portable stages and management of park stages
· Manage event radios, including the distribution and collection and maintenance
· Take and log attendance during performances at the oceanfront parks
· Initiate weather calls with the Production Manager and notify appropriate stakeholders
Qualifications:
